    For its console, the Lifespan EX3 features a Intelli-Key blue light buttons that simply and easily step you through console operations and a 16-character alpha numeric display. The EX3's programs include mountain, weight loss, heart rate control, interval, 5K/10K distance, random, manual, and two user customizable programs--all with 16 levels of resistance. Console read-outs include time, distance, speed, calories burned, resistance, and heart rate (via the contact sensors built into the handlebars).
