For those of you wanting to purchase a gym quality elliptical for your home such as the Precor 546, but it's a bit out of your price range then the Tunturi C85 is THE elliptical to own!
When I was initially in the market to purchase an elliptical trainer, my only point of reference were the Precor's that I used in the gym. When I found out how much those cost, I knew I needed to spend a bit to get something of quality, but I wasn't about to shell out a ton of money for a full gym level elliptical. I figured I would fall somewhere in the middle. That's when I learned about light commercial ellipticals and the Tunturi C85. The salesperson explained to me that Tnturi's C85 is rated as light commercial so it can take more wear and tear than a standard residential unit. He then when on to explain that Tunturi's been around since the 1920's and they make parts for all their equipment for 7 years after going out of production. So, if for any reason I need to have parts replaced within the next 10 years, I know I'll be fine.
Once I had the C85 in my home not only was I impressed by how comfortable it felt, but that it was quiet AND had a ton of great features that I know I wouldn't find on any other home model for the price!
If you want the best and can justify paying a bit more to get true quality, you'll discover like I did that you get much more than you bargained for with the C85 by Tunturi. I can't express to you how much you will LOVE the Tunturi C85 Crosstrainer!
