When my husband and I were first researching to get an elliptical for our home, we saw a lot of different units online. My husband kept going back to one brand, Sole. We saw a lot of reviews. The Sole E95 seems to be a great model, but to me, the Soles reminded me of my husband\'s tacky black leather sofa when we were still dating. Just like that sofa, the black color scheme of Sole would NOT work in our living room.
After some more searching, we stumbled onto an absolutely gorgeous looking European brand called Tunturi. As we came to find out, Tunturi has been around for almost 100 years! And when I called in, the salesperson explained to us that they test their products for hours before they even release them to the public and have a reputation for building very sturdy products that can stand up to 6x their maximum weight capacity for extended periods of time. Not to mention that it has a lot of great features. Specs wise, that was good enough for my husband. For me, the look was just as important. The design of the C35 was very striking and the color of the Tunturi C35 is neutral and doesn\'t clash with our living room!
We also checked on warranty since we were buying online and called the Tunturi company (they are in Canada) and they confirmed any unit sold online would have a warranty. Then they asked why did I think it wouldnt? Great question. It was something I read online and as I think about it would Canon not allow Amazon to have warranties. I think not. Careful what you read. Stay with a known company that specializes in fitness products. PS - they also told me they make parts fore seven years after a model goes out of production.
Now that we have the C35 in our home, we can definitely say that we made the best choice. It works great, looks elegant and I know that Tuntri will be around for years to come to support this product should that ever be an issue.
